The boot lock suffers with sticking when opened with the key. This is ongoing. The boot will open normally if the button is used. It is beautiful on the outside and luxurious on the inside. Hi everyone, picked up my first ever jag today, 2003 2.1 v6 sport, and the alternator warning came on. My local garage which I trust, tested it and surprised me when they told me it was sending too much voltage charge to the battery (over 15). Solution a new alternator as some kind of regulatory valve thing inside the alternator is faulty, I'm I bought a 2.1 v6 petrol X-type the other day (privately) and the Engine Management Light has come on. It stays on permanently but the car is not in limp mode.
